Staying cold
Mist & fog at times

Saturday
Low pressure is east of the UK on Saturday. Cloud and rain in northern and eastern parts of England. Western parts should be drier with broken cloud and some sunny spells initially. A few isolated mist or fog patches may linger through the morning. Cloud and outbreaks of rain in western Ireland and western Scotland through the afternoon and evening. The best of any afternoon sunshine to the south and southeast. Highs at 4 to 10C.

Saturday Night
Outbreaks of rain continue through the night for western parts of Ireland and Scotland, northern and eastern parts of England, southeast Scotland and into Wales too. A mostly cloudy night across the country with the best chance of clear skies to the far southeast. Mist and fog patches widely expected over south-central parts of England. Overnight lows widely at 1 to 6C, cooler in more rural areas.

Sunday
A slacker pressure flow on Sunday. There will be a fair amount of cloud and some outbreaks of drizzle too, most of these across England and Wales. Rather misty and murky, although there could be an odd brighter spell in the south of England. A brighter, drier day for Ireland, Scotland and Northern Ireland with just isolated showers over the northern half of Scotland. Highs at 4 to 9C.

Monday
Low pressure to the east and west puts the UK and Ireland in a narrow ridge of higher pressure on Monday. A mostly dry and bright day for the British Isles after any early rain clears away from the southeast. A few showers too for North Sea coasts where it will be breezy too. Cloud builds from the west later. Chilly with high temperatures at 3 to 8C.
