Wednesday
A cool start to the morning with some mist and fog patches in more sheltered parts of England, Wales, Ireland and southern Scotland. These soon clearing to leave dry weather and lots of sunshine. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland allowing for some outbreaks of drizzle on the coasts and hills. This afternoon sees more sunshine for most. The best of the sunshine in central and southern areas of England and Wales. Cloudier for Scotland, again with some spots of drizzle in the far north. A warm afternoon in the sunshine at 20C, nearer 14C in the colder parts of northern Scotland.

Wednesday Night
Plenty of clear skies through England and Wales tonight. Staying dry and fair in Ireland too. Some thicker cloud affecting central and northern Scotland, again with some spots of drizzle around northern coasts and through Orkney and Shetland. Temperatures not quite as low as recent nights at 8 to 11C.
 

Thursday
High pressure remains over the UK and Ireland on Thursday. This is set to be bringing fair conditions with plenty of sunshine once morning mist and fog patches have cleared away. Thicker cloud in northern Scotland will be giving some patchy drizzle around the coasts. Staying fair into the afternoon with more sunshine, although cloud remains over northern coasts and hills. Highs at 23C in southeast England, 17C in northern Scotland.

Friday
The area of high pressure is expected to slip to the east of the UK on Friday. This allows for a brisk south to southeast wind to develop. There may be some cloud in eastern areas at first, but this breaking. Most places will then be dry, warm and sunny. Some cloud in western Ireland and the far west of Scotland. Highs near 23C in the south and east, 21C in Ireland, 18C in the far west of Scotland.
