Thursday
A weakened front will push northeastwards on Thursday and bring mainly cloudier skies but also some patchy rain for a time across Northern Ireland, Wales and pushing east across England in the morning. The afternoon will see the front continue to push across central and eastern areas England and Scotland. Expect cloudier skies for a time with some possible patchy rain about but it should be mostly dry. The rain could turn heavy and thundery for a time across parts of eastern England however. Highs generally between 15 and 21C, but between 22 and 27C across parts of central and southeast England.

Thursday Night
Some showers could linger across some eastern coasts of England overnight. Cloudier skies and patchy rain affecting western Ireland and western parts of Northern Ireland. Largely dry elsewhere wth clear spells. Possible showers pushing up across some southeast English counties later in the night, possibly heavy and thundery. Lows at a muggy 14 to 18C in the south east, lows between 6 and 12C elsewhere.

Friday
A slack area of low pressure affects the UK and Ireland on Friday. Outbreaks of rain for the west of Scotland and Ireland. Broken cloud and feeling muggy in other areas, but some sunny spells developing and looking largely dry elsewhere. Meanwhile, showers look to push up across southeast England into East Anglia first thing and could continue through much of the day, at times heavy and thundery. Highs at 17 to 25C.

Saturday
Higher pressure ridges up from the Azores on Saturday and brings largely dry and fine conditions to much of southern, central and eastern parts of England. Meanwhile, a weakened front in the west will bring cloudier skies and patchy rain to the north and west of the UK. Ireland looks to stay largely dry with some sunny spells. There is the chance of some thundery rain affecting the far southeast of England, although confidence in this is still low at this time. Highs at 17 to 25C.
