Monday
A mixed day as fronts bring rain and stronger winds from the west. Rain spreads across Ireland and into western parts of the UK through the late morning, reaching all parts of the UK through the early evening. Gales possible at times for western coastal areas. Turning milder in the south too. High temperatures at 6C in northern Scotland, 12C in southern England.
 


Monday Night
Further rain spreads across Ireland and northern parts of the UK overnight from Monday into Tuesday. Staying mostly dry but cloudy to the south and southeast. Staying breezy with gales possible to the west. A mild night with overnight lows at 5 to 11C.

 
 
 


Tuesday
Low pressure to the north and higher pressure to the south on Tuesday. A band of rain sinks southward through southern Scotland, Ireland and northern parts of England and Wales. Drizzle and low cloud over western coasts and hills. Cooler and brighter in Scotland later where a few showers affect northern and western areas. Gales for western and northern areas again. Highs at 7 to 15C.


Wednesday
Breezy on Wednesday with gales for northern areas. Outbreaks of rain and sleet affect Ireland, Northern Ireland, Scotland and far northern parts of England through the day. Frequent showers follow for these areas after the rain has cleared, some of them wintry. A drier but cloudy day for the rest of England and Wales though southern coastal areas of England could see some drizzle at times while showery rain affects western parts of Wales later. Highs at 5 to 14C.
