Sunday
A wet day for many on Sunday as low pressure becomes slow moving over the UK. Rain could be heavy at times to the east and may lead to localised flooding. It slowly clears to the southeast through the afternoon. Drier and brighter in Ireland and western parts of the UK. High temperatures at 11 to 14C in the rain, 15 or 16C in the brighter weather to the west.
 


Sunday Night
An area of low pressure brings increasing cloud and strong winds over Ireland and the UK on Sunday. Rain arrives to the west of Ireland through Sunday evening and spreads east reaching the western UK by Monday morning. A windy night for western areas with overnight lows at 8 to 11C.
 


Monday
A band of showery, sometimes heavy, rain spreads from west to east across the UK and Ireland as low pressure is centred to the northwest. Strong winds, potentially gales, affecting western areas. Sunny spells and showers follow behind the rain to the west. The southeast likely to stay dry until the evening. Highs at 10 to 16C.
 


Tuesday
Low pressure remains northwest of Scotland on Tuesday bringing more rain with it, followed by sunny spells and showers, the heaviest and most persistent of them in western Scotland. Winds stay strong across the country. High temperatures at 11 to 17C.
