Friday
A band of rain will push southeast across England and Wales through Friday morning with a strengthening wind, clearing southeast England in the afternoon. Largely dry weather and sunny spells developing behind, although with some scattered showers further west. Across western Scotland and west Ireland, bands of rain will move in from the Atlantic bringing a continued wet day here as well as windy with gales expected. Eastern regions though looking to stay mainly dry. Highs of 11 to 16C across England and Wales, 8 to 12C across Scotland.

Friday Night
Rain will continue across west Scotland overnight, with high gusts still blowing through. Breezy and mostly dry elsewhere but rain pushes through Ireland and into Wales later. Lows of 7 to 10C across England and Wales, but 5 to 8C across Scotland.

 
 
 

Saturday
After a dry start for much of the UK on Saturday, a deep area of low pressure will bring spells of rain will move in from the southwest, heavy and persistent rainfall across parts of England and eastern Ireland for a time. The far north and northeast of Scotland though could stay dry throughout the day. Windy for all, particularly so across eastern and southern areas of England where gale force winds are possible for a time. Highs at 15C in the south but nearer 10 to 12C in the rain in the north and west.

Sunday
On Sunday the area of low pressure moves north into the Norwegian Sea. The spells of heavier rain will be through the morning across parts of Scotland, more so the north and east, as well as through parts of England. A drier afternoon is expected for many across the UK, although with a blustery wind still about showers will affect particularly western regions, these perhaps merging into longr spells of rain across west Ireland. Highs of 12 to 16C in the south and 8 to 11C further north.
