Very warm/hot sun

Saturday
High pressure will bring another day of very warm temperatures for many, hot for some further south. There is the risk of some low cloud and mist affecting some coasts again but this should gradually burn off through the day. More cloud with some light rain/drizzle in the west of Scotland as well as across the north including the Northern Isles. Highs at 17C in northwest Scotland, 23 to 30C elsewhere.


Saturday night
Cloud pushing in across much of northern and central Scotland overnight with the risk of some patchy light rain/drizzle in the thicker cloud across the north and northwest. Elsewhere, temperatures will fall back from the daytime heat and it will stay dry with clear skies. Lows at 10C in the north but up to 15-18C across more southern areas.
 


Sunday
High pressure remains in charge for most of the country bringing another day of largely dry and fine weather, however, weakened fronts pass across Scotland into northern England. This is going to be bring thicker cloud to these areas for a time with the risk of a few spots of rain, mainly to the north in the morning and some more coastal regions of Scotland. The odd shower may even affect northeast England later on as well as southern Ireland. Highs at 16C in the far north of Scotland, 22 to 29C elsewhere.


Monday
The remnants of a front will pass south down the country on Monday. This will bring more cloud cover with the odd spot of rain not completely ruled out, however, most places staying dry with sunny spells about. There will be the risk of scattered showers developing across parts of southern England and south Ireland later on in the day. Highs at 19C to 29C.
