Overnight, expect variable cloud cover across Scotland and northern England with some possible light rain/drizzle in the thicker cloud around Scottish coastal regions. Staying dry for most with the better clear skies further south and west. Lows for many between 13 and 20C, cooler across the north of Scotland.

Monday
The remnants of a front will pass south down the country on Monday. This will bring more cloud cover with the odd spot of rain not completely ruled out, however, most places staying dry with sunny spells about. There will be the risk of scattered showers developing across parts of south and southwest England as well as Ireland later in the day. Highs at 19C to 28C, locally hotter at 29 to 30C in the south and southwest.
