Tuesday
A very warm or hot day across much of England, eastern Wales and the eastern half of Scotland, humid too. There will be sunny spells but cloud floating around as well. Thicker cloud over western parts of Scotland, Wales, southwest England and eastern Ireland giving periods of rain here, some of them thundery. Rather murky in the west as well. The far west of Ireland is likely to be fresher with some bright or sunny spells. Tops at 30C in the far southeast, widely 23 to 27C, nearer 18C in western Scotland.

Tuesday Night
A very warm, close and humid night to come. Cloud and outbreaks of rain or drizzle will be affecting much of Ireland and western Scotland. Drier to the east and south with variable cloud. Mist and fog patches may form in places towards the morning. There is also a threat of an odd thundery showers in the far southwest. Lows near 12 to 19C.
 

Wednesday
An area of low pressure is going to be just to the south of England on Wednesday and will be affecting the whole of the country. A front remains in more western parts of Scotland, Ireland, western Wales and southwest England. The front brings rain and drizzle here, although this tending to fade from Wales and southwest England as well as much of Ireland in the afternoon. Drier elsewhere with sunny spells and staying very warm. A threat of some low cloud and fog on eastern coasts of England. Staying hot and humid in the east, but fresher in the far west. Highs at 21 to 29C.

Thursday
Low pressure stays over the far south of England on Thursday, A front brings cloud and periods of rain through western Wales and southwest England, with heavier and thundery rain in western Scotland and Ireland. More eastern and southern areas turning steadily fresher with broken cloud and some bright or sunny spells. A low risk of an odd thunderstorm developing as the fresher air arrives. Highs near 17 to 27C with the fresh air in the west.
