An unsettled spell of weather continues for the central and eastern Mediterranean
A mostly dry and fine day for Portugal and Spain though a few showers persist over northern Spain. Heavy, thundery downpours affect the Balearic Islands, Corsica, Sardinia and the northern half of Italy. Mostly dry and fair for southern Italy. Showers, some of them heavy, spread east across Greece but tend to ease through the afternoon. A dry and bright day for Turkey.
Heavy outbreaks of rain affect the eastern half of France, the Low Countries, northern and western Germany and the Czech Republic on Monday. This turns to snow over higher ground. Drier and bright for southern France, southern Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary after any early showers clear. Wintry showers continue for Switzerland.
A dry but dull day for Finland and the Baltic States. Occasional showers affecting northern Finland. An area of heavy rain and snow spreads from Denmark over Norway and into western Sweden becoming increasingly wintry in nature as it spreads north across both countries. A dry but dull day for much of Sweden.
Cloud spreads across Portugal and Spain with outbreaks of showery rain moving into Portugal and western Spain later. Staying dry to the east of Spain. Heavy thundery downpours continue for Corsica, Sardinia, Italy and Greece. Another dry and sunny day for Turkey.
Variable amounts of cloud with spells of sunshine for many central European countries on Tuesday including France, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. Occasional showers for northwestern France, the Low Countries, northern Germany and western Poland. Further snowfall expected for the southern Alps.
A breezy day for Denmark, Norway and Sweden with outbreaks of rain, some of it heavy, and snow spreading north across the region. A mostly dry and fine day for the Baltic States. Mostly dry too for Finland but with more cloud here and occasional snow showers to the north.
