Wednesday
Cloud for much of central, eastern and southern England and Wales at first this morning. This cloud is going to be breaking with some bright or sunny spells developing from the west. eastern areas may have some cloud drifting in throughout the day. Sunny skies for more western areas, northwest England much of central and western Scotland as well as Ireland. Cloud could affect the far northern coasts of Scotland at times. Breezy in the far south of England. Highs at 16C in the cloud in the east, 23C in sunshine in western Scotland and western Ireland.


Wednesday Night
Cloud returns to eastern areas of Scotland and England tonight, drifting into the Midlands and southern England too. Clearer skies further west with temperatures cool here at 5C, but nearer 8C in the cloudier east.

 
 
 


Thursday
Pressure is going to be staying high on Thursday. An east to northeast flow affects all parts of the British Isles and this brings some cloud into eastern and central areas in the morning. Sunnier skies in western parts, and this sunshine burns through the cloud to the east as the day progresses. Breezy in southern England again. Highs at 24C in the west, 15C in the east.
 


Friday
High pressure remains to the north of Scotland on Friday. Cloud in the east continues to feed in from the North Sea, extending into the Midlands and southern areas of England in the morning. This should break with sunny spells developing. Fair weather cloud in central and western Scotland and parts of Ireland but this won't ruin the sunshine in these areas. Always the best sunshine in the west. Highs at 24C in western Ireland, 22C in western Wales and western Scotland, 15C along cloudier eastern coasts.
