A cloudy morning in Ireland, Wales, southern and southwestern parts of England, breezy here too. Drizzle and patchy rain in southern ireland and the hills of southwest England. Drier to the east with some brighter spells, although cloud in northeast England and eastern Scotland. Sunnier skies for western Scotland. This afternoon sees thicker cloud, drizzle and outbreaks of rain in Ireland, Wales and southwest England as well as the higher ground of southern England. Cloudier but dry in central and eastern parts, although remaining mostly sunny in western Scotland. Staying breezy. Highs at 6 to 10C.


Tuesday Night
It is likely to be staying cloudy through tonight. Outbreaks of drizzle and patchy rain in the west and south. Staying mostly dry to the east, although there could be some patchy drizzle in northeast England through the early hours. Drier weather arrives in the west later, but staying dull and drizzle in western Ireland and the far southwest of England. Lows near 2 to 5C.


Wednesday
A cold front clearing eastern coasts of England on Wednesday morning taking some spots of rain with it. Brighter weather then follows from the west for a while. However, showery troughs are going to be pushing through Ireland and into Wales and western England, these then spreading eastwards through the afternoon. Showers in western Scotland and these will be persisting through the day. Eastern areas of Scotland and England are likely to be dry until evening when some showers may arrive. Highs at 8 to 13C.


Thursday
A weak area of low pressure passes to the north of Scotland on Thursday. Fronts trailing west to east through Scotland bringing plenty of cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle here. Spots of drizzle may affect the coasts of Ireland, Wales and southwest England. Drier in central and eastern areas of England with broken cloud here. Mild at 8 to 11C.
