Tuesday
A weak cold front will be bringing some cloud through Scotland and northeast England this morning. Elsewhere there will be some sunshine, the best in the south and west. Most areas will be dry, although a few spots of rain can;t be ruled out over the Grampians, southern Uplands and Cheviots. The cloud slips through southern Scotland, northern, central and eastern England this afternoon with the majority of areas staying dry. Sunny spells for Wales and southern England as well as western Ireland, although a few showers could affect eastern Ireland. Highs at a chilly 10C in the east, 14C in the sunshine in the west.

Tuesday Night
Cloud breaks through this evening to leave a dry night. Skies are going to be clear for many, although a little cloud may affect northeastern coasts of England with the threat of a shower along the east and south coasts of Kent and Sussex. A cold night under the clear skies with a frost in some sheltered areas, lows near 1 to 4C.
 

Wednesday
High pressure centred over Scotland on Wednesday, this impacting all parts of the British Isles. Some cloud in eastern England allowing for a few spots of rain in the northeast. All other areas will be dry with sunny spells, the best of the sunshine in northern and western areas. Little changes into the afternoon, although the cloud in the east will be breaking. Most enjoying a fair day with sunny spells, the best in the north and west. Highs at a cold 10C in the east, 13C in the west.

Thursday
High pressure remains dominant over the British Isles on Thursday. Broken cloud and sunny spells throughout the day. It is going to be a dry day for most as well, although scattered showers are likely in Shetland. Isolated showers may affect the North York Moors too. Some cloud over southern England. Highs at 12C along eastern coasts, more widely 14 to 17C.
