Sunday
A slack pressure flow on Sunday with a fair amount of cloud for many areas. It should be generally dry, and a few bright spells are likely in the morning. However, some patchy rain or drizzle could affect southern coasts of England at first. Scattered showers develop in the afternoon across Scotland as well as northern, central and eastern England; some of these may be thundery. Tending to be drier in western areas although thicker cloud in Ireland may allow for an odd spot of rain here. Highs at 10 or 11C in northern Scotland, 17C in southern England.

Sunday Night
Showers and rain tend to fade overnight from Sunday into Monday though may persist across the Midlands and eastern parts of England for a time. Staying dry elsewhere. A mostly cloudy night across the country with the best of any clear skies to the north and west. Overnight lows chilly enough for a touch of frost to develop under clearer skies, 3 to 10C for most.
 

Monday
High pressure north of Scotland on Monday. An easterly flow brings broken cloud and some showers to England and Wales. Cloudier skies in the far southwest of England and the far south of Ireland. Western parts of Scotland, western England and west Wales should become drier and brighter during the day. Dry and bright in Northern Ireland too. Feeling chilly where exposed to the moderate easterly wind in the south. Highs at 9C in northeast Scotland, but more widely 15 to 17C away from eastern coasts.

Tuesday
High pressure is off eastern Scotland on Tuesday. Lower pressure is to the southwest of Ireland and a front lies somewhere through southern Ireland and the far south of England. This may bring a wet day to the far south of Ireland, southern Wales and southern counties of England. Rain edges slowly north, but becomes more patchy. Dry in northern parts of Ireland, northern England and Scotland. Best sunshine in the west, cooler in the east. Highs at just 8 or 9C on eastern coasts, but 15C in Ireland and southern England.
