UK Forecast - October 30, 2019
Milder end to week
Rain becoming widespread

Thursday
High pressure lies to the east, whilst a slow-moving and weakening front is focused across Wales and south-west England. Rain and drizzle fairly persistent here, at times heavy, but tending to become patchy and light. A lot of cloud for central and southern Britain. Brighter and largely dry for east & northern England and much of Scotland. Some fog in the morning. Generally light winds from the southeast. Highs 8 to 14C, mildest far southwest.

Thursday night
Another weather system moving in from the Atlantic brings heavy rain to Ireland, then western Britain into the evening and night. Prolonged heavy falls developing across south Wales and southwest England again, with a threat of renewed flooding developing here. Rain extending further east later in the night. South to southwest winds strengthening. Scotland may fall to 0 to 3C, but milder elsewhere, staying in double figures overnight in the southwest.

Friday
A complex series of fronts move across the British Isles. A spell of rain drifts east and northwards in the morning, likely to persist across Scotland much of the day. Clusters of heavy showers are likely to follow from the west, risk merging back into constant rain. Some drier conditions across central England & Wales for a few hours. Risk of strong or gale force winds around southern coasts. Temperatures between 9 and 16C, mildest in the far south.

Saturday
Confidence of precise detail is low, but generally unsettled conditions are likely. Low pressure centred toward the southwest is likely to push belts of rain northeastwards, setting in heavy for several hours, whilst some places will escape dry for several hours too. Blustery winds, risk of gales, particularly in the south. Highs 9 to 13C.
