Thursday
It will be a bright and cool start to the morning across many parts of England, Wales and Scotland. The best of any sunshine will be in the east. Increasing cloud and wind will be bringing rain into Ireland and this will be arriving in western parts of the UK by the early afternoon. Eastern areas tending to stay dry until the evening when some outbreaks of mostly light rain will occur. It may be that East Anglia and Southeast England stay dry until dark. Winds will be near gale force over western coasts and hills. Highest temperatures at around 10°C two 15°C.

Thursday Night
Rain will sink south through England and Wales overnight, although dry weather tends to follow to the north. They will be some early rain in northern Scotland and a gain some showers or more persistent rain may affect western Scotland later in the night. Periods of rain to fall Northwest England and western Wales as well as southern England but perhaps a little drier through the Midlands. Drier to across central and eastern Ireland as well as eastern Scotland. Low temperatures between 7°C and 12°C.

Friday
Fronts trailing through central and southern England, Wales and southern Ireland on Friday will bring a wet day with periods of rain throughout. Brighter and cooler further north with sunny spells in Scotland, that heavy showers affecting western coasts and hills. Sunny spells and showers in much of Ireland, although staying cloudier in the far south with more rain here. Highs at a muggy 17C in southeastern areas, but 10 to 15C elsewhere.

Saturday
Pressure remains low through Saturday. Further cloud and rain in southern England and Wales, this becoming increasingly heavy. Drier, brighter and cooler in northern England, Scotland and much of Ireland, away from western coasts. Showers in northern and western Scotland, a few of them being heavy. Highs at 9 to 14C.
