Thursday
Showery bursts of rain across the Midlands and southern England this morning. This area of rain will b passing westwards into Wales and southwest England through the morning before clearing this afternoon. There may be some drizzle or patchy rain across northern England and eastern Ireland too. This is going to fade and then most parts becoming dry. Sunny spells are going to be developing, although there will be cloud over eastern Ireland and northern England. Breezy in the south with highs at 8 to 12C.

Thursday Night
Some outbreaks of rain affecting the southern coasts of England overnight. There could be some drizzle affecting the far north of Scotland too. Elsewhere it should be dry with clearer spells developing. Under clear skies in northern England and Scotland there could be a frost forming. Lows near 0 to 7C.
 

Friday
Weak fronts bringing some rain to the south coast of England on Friday, this passing west. A further front gives drizzle to northern Scotland. Elsewhere it is going to be dry with variable amounts of cloud, but some sunny spells too. The best of the sunshine in more western areas with the east always tending to see more cloud. Highs at 10 to 14C.
 

Saturday
High pressure remains over the country on Saturday. This brings a dry day for most. There will be a stiff northeast breeze affecting southern parts of the country with lighter winds elsewhere. The best sunshine is likely to be in the west although eastern areas will be cloudier. Some drizzle and low cloud affecting the far north of Scotland. Highs at 12 to 16C.
