Saturday
A day of sunshine and showers for most of the British Isles. Heavy showers, some thundery for the north and west of Scotland, western England and Wales as well as Ireland. Tending to be drier and brighter in central and eastern areas although even here there will be some showers. A breezy day but windy in Scotland with gales in the west of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Highs at 18C in southern England, 12C in Scotland, northern England and Ireland.


Saturday Night
Some heavy showers in the north and west of Scotland tonight, although these tending to ease as the night progresses. Showers in other areas should be fading and becoming lighter with most places then dry. An area of rain brushes southern Ireland and reaches southwest England later in the night. Lows near 5 to 9C.
 


Sunday
An area of rain passing eastwards through southern parts of England and the far south of Wales on Sunday. The rain may be heavy at times in the far south. Brighter for other areas with the best of the sunshine further north. Some scattered showers in northern and western Scotland, but drier elsewhere. Cloudy in much of Wales, the Midlands and East Anglia. Highs at 11 to 15C.
 


Monday
A ridge of high pressure over England and Wales on Monday. This brings some morning mist and fog patches early on. These clear to leave a dry and bright day with some decent spells of sunshine in the east and south. Cloud and rain affecting the west of Ireland and western Scotland, some of this rain becoming heavy as the winds increase to gale force. Highs at 18C in the sunshine in the southeast, 12C in western Scotland, 17C in Ireland.
