Winds increasing in Ireland, western Scotland and northwest England in the afternoon. Periods of more persistent rain also reaching Ireland and western Scotland. Highs at 9 to 12C.

This rain spreads into central and southwest England as well as East Anglia through the early hours. Rain turns heavy in northwest England and west Wales as well as parts of southwest England. Heavy showers in western Scotland, turning more drizzly in western Ireland. Drier in eastern Scotland too. A risk of gales north and west. Lows at 3C in Scotland and southeast England at first, then generally 5 to 7C.

Cloud and further periods of rain, this turning heavy across Ireland, western Wales and the west and south of Scotland. Periods of rain elsewhere, but tending to be mostly light. Plenty of low cloud and drizzle over western and southern casts and hills. Highs at 8 to 14C.
Thursday Low pressure north of Scotland on Thursday. Showery troughs will be driving eastwards through the day. These will be heavy at times and will merge into longer spells of rain, possibly thundery and with hail. The heaviest of the showers in the west. Fewer showers in the east and south, although even here there could be a few heavy showers at times. Windy with gust of 40mph or more. Highs at 7 to 11C.
