Frost in north tonight

Thursday
A cold day ahead with plenty of cloud for many areas. There will be some spots of light rain affecting eastern coasts, these spreading to northeast England and part of southwest Scotland in the afternoon. A few showery outbreaks of rain for East Anglia and southeast England early in the morning, but these soon clearing eastwards. At the same tme bright, but yet colder weather arrives in northern and eastern Scotland. Brighter in the west of Wales and southwest England as well as western Ireland. Highs at 6 to 8C but just 5C along some coasts of northeast England and eastern Scotland.


Thursday Night
A dry night for most areas under clearing skies. There will be some thicker cloud in eastern Ireland and southwest England, this producing a few showers on coasts. A frist developing in northern England and Scotland. Lows at 0 to 4C.

 
 
 


Friday
A large area of high pressure is over the UK and Ireland on Friday. This is going to be bringing a cold day. There will be some sunshine, the best of it to the west. Always more cloud affecting eastern areas of Scotland and England. Some cloud too in western Ireland but the east should be brighter with sunny spells. A few spots of drizzle may affect the far northwest of Scotland. Highs at 5 to 7C.


Saturday
High-pressure remains over the country on Saturday. Morning mist and fog patches are likely but these will be clearing away quickly. Most areas are they dry with broken cloud. The best of the sunshine developing in central and western areas. There may be more cloud across Ireland with a risk of some rain in the west. Highs at 6 to 8C.
