UK Forecast - March 12, 2021
Winds easing
Becoming milder

Saturday
Low pressure is north of Scotland again on Saturday. Rain for all overnight and breezy too. These should clear eastern coasts on Saturday morning to be followed by a mix of sunshine and showers. The showers will be heaviest in the west with a risk of hail and thunder. The showers could turn wintry over hills too. Highs at 6 to 8C for most, 9 or 10C in the southeast of England.

Saturday Night
Overnight we see blustery showers becoming confined to northwestern parts of the UK while most other areas see a dry night with variable amounts of cloud. Staying breezy overnight with the best of any clearer skies to the east. Overnight lows at 1 to 4C for most, cooler over parts of Scotland.

Sunday
A weak ridge of high pressure may briefly build on Sunday. This should bring a briefly more settled spell of weather to start the day with sunny spells and a few showers. Showers mostly to the north and west. Thicker cloud and further rain arriving in Ireland and southern Scotland as well as Wales and western England later. Highs around 5 to 11C, mildest over western Ireland.

Monday
Rain overnight will be clearing southeast through Monday morning. The flow then turns more northwesterly bringing a mix of sunshine and showers, most over northern and western coasts and hills. A few of the showers could be heavy. High temperatures at 6C in northern Scotland, more widely 8 to 13C.
