Best sunshine in west
Some cloud east

Wednesday
Some broken cloud to start Wednesday morning, but it will be dry. Most of the cloud through central and eastern areas. There will be some sunshine, the best in the west. Some thicker cloud in the far northeast of Scotland and across Shetland and Orkney with a low risk of some spots of light rain here. Through the morning the sunshine becomes more frequent with much of the cloud breaking further. Eastern coasts and hills remain more prone to cloud than elsewhere. Highs at 17C on eastern coasts, 21 to 24C inland.


Wednesday Night
Further cloud tonight in eastern Scotland and eastern England. This could be thick enough to produce a few spots of drizzle on eastern coasts. Elsewhere the night is going to be dry with clear spells, the best in western areas, although the chance of a few spots of drizzle later in the far northwest of Scotland. Lows at 10 to 12C.
 


Thursday
Some cloud again affecting eastern parts of England and Scotland on Thursday with high pressure firmly in control. There wil be some cloud here and there, mostly in eastern parts, but more sunshine elsewhere, the best of it in the west. Staying dry into the afternoon with further sunshine, although eastern coasts always tending to see some cloud drifting in from time to time. Highs at 17C on eastern coasts, 20 to 23C inland.


Friday
High pressure north of Scotland on Friday. It is going to be another dry day with some decent spells of sunshine. eastern areas again troubled by some low cloud at times, but overall it should be a fair day. Temperatures reaching 18C on eastern coasts, 21 to 24C elsewhere.
