Heavy showers

Saturday
Low pressure centred across northern Britain brings an unsettled day to most areas. Slow moving heavy showers, some merging into longer spells of rain, across Scotland, northern England and Northern Ireland. Further south showers will become widespread through the day, some heavy, while a front tracks from west to east across the country seeing heavier spells of rain for a time. Southern areas will see a brisk wind once again. Generally fairly cool, temperatures 16 to 21C, warmest toward the southeast.


Saturday night
Outbreaks of heavy rain continue across parts of Scotland, northwest England and Northern Ireland overnight. Elsewhere, showers gradually become more localised with drier conditions and clear spells becoming more prevalent. Lows at 11 to 14C.

 
 
 


Sunday
Low pressure centres itself over Scotland on Sunday. Once again slow moving and heavy showers will affect many parts of Scotland into northern England and Northern Ireland. Further south a drier day but with a brisk westerly wind there will be some showers about, particularly affecting western regions of Britain. Heavier spells of rain looking to push in to southwest England later in the day. Highs 16 to 22C.


Monday
Rain clearing southeastern regions of England first thing on Monday. With low pressure still circulating over Scotland, once again slow moving and heavy showers will affect many regions of Scotland into northern England. Showers about elsewhere but more in the way of drier and sunnier spells are expected. A fresh west to southwesterly breeze. Highs 16 to 22C.
