Friday
A front bringing heavy periods of rain across Ireland on Friday, some of it thundery. Low cloud and drizzle over southwest England, Wales as well as northwest England. After a mostly dry morning southwest Scotland will then see some patchy rain move in also, turning heavy later in the day here. Rain turning heavy across west Wales and northwest England later on too. Largely dry and bright for a time elsewhere but cloud will soon build. Feeling muggy, warm even for SE England. Highs at 19 to 26C across England and Wales, cooler further north and west.

Friday Night
Spells of rain will continue to affect much of Scotland, before clearing from the west here, Wales and western parts of England. Rain largely clearing Northern Ireland and Ireland as the night progresses although eastern areas may just see heavier rain push in later on. Central, southern and many eastern regions of England will stay dry and continue to feel rather muggy. Lows across England and Wales between 14 and 17C, cooler further north and west.

Saturday
A rather unsettled day for many on Saturday as low pressure continues to push outbreaks of rain northeastwards across the country. The heaviest rainfall in the morning is expected across Wales, east Ireland and southwest England, before shifting north and east to affect mainly north wales, northern and NE England as well as parts of southern Scotland in the afternoon. Showers elsewhere, some of these could be heavy and thundery. Highs at 27C in southeast England, 17C in northern Scotland, 20C in Ireland.

Sunday
Sunday will still see heavy and perhaps thundery rain affect northern and eastern regions of England in particular. Showers, some heavy, to affect parts of Scotland too. Drier elsewhere with sunny spells as higher pressure builds in across western regions. Feeling rather muggy for some although cooler under the heavier rain across parts of north and east England. Highs at 17 to 25C.
