Tuesday Night
Severe gales overnight bringing damaging winds to some areas. The highest risk of strongest winds through northern England, Wales, the Midlands and southern England as well as in Ireland. Gusts of 90mph could occur over Wales, southwest England and Ireland as well as northwest England. Rain through Ireland spreading into northern England and Wales, with much of Scotland being wet to in the west and south. Lows at 2 to 5C.


Wednesday
The deep area of low pressure is over central parts of England on Wednesday, edging slowly east. Fronts wrapped around the low will be bringing cloud and much rain to many areas. the rain heavy at times. A few drier slots will occur, notably in parts of northwest Scotland. Stying very windy in the morning with more severe gales for some, but these easing into the afternoon. Highs at 4 to 7C.


Thursday
Low pressure remains over the east of the UK on Thursday as a weaker feature. There will be cloud and some outbreaks of rain here, most of it light and showery. A weak ridge of high pressure brings some drier weather to Ireland with a few sunny spells, although cloud and some rain in the far west. Elsewhere morning mist patches clear to leave a day with broken cloud and mostly dry weather. Highs at 4 to 8C.
