Saturday
Mainly cloudy across much of England, Wales and Ireland on Saturday. There will be some outbreaks of rain or drizzle, mostly on hills. Rather murky too. A threat of some thunderstorms developing over southern England later. Northern England and Scotland as well as Northern Ireland are likely to be drier with some mist and low cloud affecting eastern coasts. The best sunshine in western Scotland and northwest England. Tops at 17C on eastern coasts, 20 to 25C elsewhere.


Saturday Night
Cloudy with outbreaks of rain across much of southern England and Wales as well as Ireland on Saturday night. The rain will become heavy and thundery at times over more western areas. Tending to be drier in northern England, Northern Ireland and Scotland with low cloud and some missed affecting eastern coasts. Lows at 11 to 16C.
 


Sunday
Low-pressure is to the south of Britain on Sunday. This brings outbreaks of showery rain across much of central and southern England and Wales as well as southern Ireland. The rain could turn heavy at times in the afternoon with the risk of thunderstorms. Rather cloudy across northern England with showers at times. Lower cloud with mist and fog affecting north eastern coast of England as well as eastern coast of Scotland. The best sunshine and driest weather for western Scotland. Highs at 29C in southern England, 22C in western Scotland, 17 to 19C elsewhere.


Monday
Thundery periods of rain on Monday, many affecting England, Wales and Ireland as well as southern Scotland. The afternoon sees the risk of some potentially torrential showers forming in England, Wales and Ireland. Lower cloud continues to affect eastern Scotland with some mist and fog. Drier in northern Scotland. Highs at 17 to 25C.
