Friday
Low pressure tracks eastwards across southern Britain on Friday with winds strengthening and turning more northerly. A band of rain will push southeastwards from southern Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland then down through England and Wales with sunny spells and showers developing behind. Northern Scotland will see sunny spells and showers with an improving scene developing widely across Scotland through the day. Sunny spells developing across Northern Ireland as well. Chilly in that brisk northerly wind, particularly along the coasts. Highs at 14 to 17C for many. Highs at 20C in the far southeast of England and 13C in the north of Scotland.

Friday Night
Cloudy skies continuing across the southeast of England but rain should clear this region through the night. Clear spells and mainly dry conditions elsewhere, although showers affecting northern Scotland and mainly eastern coasts of the UK and potentially the southwest of England thanks to that still brisk north to northeasterly wind. Lows at 5C under those clearer skies across central areas while coasts will see lows at a milder 10 to 13C.

Saturday
Saturday will be a chilly day as the northerly wind persists, with winds feeling brisk and particularly chilly along easternmost coasts. There will be some good spells of sunshine but also a scattering of showers blowing in on the breeze. Most of the showers affecting coasts and hills which are exposed to the wind. Highs at 13 to 17C.
 

Sunday
On Sunday a ridge of high pressure builds in from the west across the UK and Ireland, allowing for a dry and bright start for many. Through the day cloud will increase and even though it should stay mainly dry there is the risk of a possible isolated shower developing in the north later. Chilly with highs at 15C in the north and 17C further south.
