Mist and fog will develop again across much of England and Wales on Saturday morning which will in places be stubborn to lift. Patchy rain too affecting parts of Wales and central areas of England in the morning that will progress into northern England and southern parts of Scotland by the afternoon. Elsewhere, it will be dry and generally fine with sunny spells. Feeling chilly for most with highs in the north and across central areas between 4 and 8C, 9 to 12C further south.

Saturday night
Cloud and patchy outbreaks of rain will continue and linger across northern parts of England, northern parts of Ireland and move into Northern Ireland as well as southern areas of Scotland. Elsewhere should remain dry but with fog and mist patches again developing across much of England, Wales and southern parts of Ireland. Slightly breezier across northern Scotland with the risk for some light patchy rain here. Overnight lows across mainland northern and central Scotland around freezing for a time. Elsewhere, lows range between 3 to 7C.

Sunday
High pressure remains over England, Wales and Ireland on Sunday. A murky day for many here with mist and some fog but where it does lift expect good spells of sunshine. Cloudy with patchy light rain andd drizzle across the far north of England and into southwestern areas of Scotland. Breezier with variable cloud across the rest of Scotland with some possible light rain in the far northwest. Highs at 6 to 11C.

Monday
Higher pressure remains over much of England, Wales and Ireland on Monday. There could be further mist and fog over Wales and England, but this may lift to give sunny spells. Breezy and cloudy in northern and western Scotland with rain here. Brighter in the east. Highs at 7 to 10C.
