Saturday
Low pressure will circulate just to the west of Ireland on Saturday. It will bring spells of rain across the UK, heaviest and most persistent rain through the morning for most with drier conditions in the afternoon, however, Wales and southwest England as well as northern Scotland will continue to see persistent and heavy rainfall during the afternoon. There will be strong southwesterly winds and temperatures will be milder than of late for many. Highs at 11 to 16C but staying cool across Scotland.

Saturday Night
Overnight, rain will continue across Wales, the southwest and northern England as well as across parts of Scotland and western regions of Ireland. Drier elsewhere with some clear spells developing in the southeast of England. Winds remaining strong for some southern coastal regions as well as through the Northern Isles. Lows at at mild 6 to 10C for most although northwest Scotland will see lows drop to as lows 1C.

Sunday
Low pressure is expected to be centred over Ireland on Sunday so expect another west and blustery day for many. Heavy and frequent showers will affect Scotland and Ireland while a band of patchy rain will push southeastwards across England and Wales. Rain looks to affect southeast England later in the day and looks to turn heavy at times with the risk of thunder. Becoming warm in the southeast with highs reaching 19 or 20C here. Elsewhere, highs generally between 11 and 16C.

Monday
Low pressure continues to be centred over Ireland at the start of the new week. This will continue to bring strong winds and frequent, heavy blustery showers or longer spells of rain to Ireland, Northern Ireland, western areas of the UK, including Wales, and Scotland. Fewer showers towards the east with some sunny spells. Highs at 11 to 16C.
