Blustery showers
Mild in the south

Saturday
A front across the southeast of England at first, this bringing some morning rain which will be clearing into the North Sea. Becoming brighter from the west with sunny spells, but also blustery showers on western coasts and hills. Drier further east. A windy day with coastal gales in the west. Less mild compared to Friday with highs at 11 or 12C in the far south and southeast, 7 to 10C for many and a max at 5C in the northwest.


Saturday night
Showers continuing across western areas as well as along southern coasts. It will be drier across central and eastern areas with clear spells. Staying windy too. Not a particularly cold night although it could get chilly across northern mainland Scotland with lows here dipping to 1 or 2C. Elsewhere, expect lows at 4 to 7C.
 


Sunday
A day of sunny spells and scattered and again blustery showers on Sunday although the winds not quite as strong. The showers are most likely in western and southern areas. Central and eastern parts are drier with the best of the sunny spells here. Temperatures around or just above average with max temperatures from 7 to 10C.
 


Monday
Low pressure affects all parts of the UK and Ireland on Monday. An area of heavy rain will cross Ireland, Wales and England with some strong to gale force winds along particularly southern coasts. There will also be showers or longer spells of rain pushing through Northern Ireland and Scotland. Quite a temperature difference between the north and the south today with highs at 6C for the northern half of the UK and 13C in central and southern England as well as south Wales.
