UK Forecast - December 05, 2020
Staying cold
Some rain, sleet and snow

Sunday
A foggy start for central and southern parts of England as well as over Northern Ireland and Ireland. This slow to clear in places. Pressure is expected to be staying generally low through Sunday. Some showery rain is expected across mainly eastern areas of Scotland, sleet and snow over the higher ground, as well as across northern England. Some patchy rain possible along southeastern English coasts too. Largely dry elsewhere with best of any sunny spells in the west. Highs at 3 to 7C, mildest over southwestern parts of Ireland and the UK and in East Anglia.

Sunday night
It looks like it will be a largely dry but cold night although some western coastal areas are more likely to see some patchy rain lingering and will remain frost free. Expect a widespread frost across Scotland, Northern Ireland as well as some eastern areas of Ireland and parts of southern England first thing. With clear skies for many temperatures will widely drop to -1 to 2C. Milder in coastal areas at 3 to 5C.

Monday
Weak low pressure generally remains dominant through Monday. Largely dry, however, but with rather a lot of cloud about and some mist and fog patches are possible as winds are slack. Showers are also expected to affect eastern coasts. Best of any sunny spells developing in the west. Rain also possible to affect the far southwest of Ireland where it will also stay mainly cloudy. Staying cold for all. Highs at 2 to 7C.

Tuesday
A low pressure system moves eastwards across Scotland on Tuesday seeing rain spread from east to west. Northern England will also see outbreaks of rain and later arrive over Northern Ireland, parts of Wales and central areas of England. Some of the rain will turn to sleet or snow, particularly over higher ground. Drier further south. High temperatures at 3 to 7C.
