Rather cloudy through this morning for many areas. There will be some outbreaks of rain over the hills of northern England and southern Scotland as well as much of northeast England. Some showers developing in southern England and Ireland during the morning. Tending to be drier in much of Scotland, a few bright spells in the west. The afternoon sees some showers in central, eastern and southern areas of England, some of them thundery. Scattered showers in the far north of Scotland. Turning brighter in western parts of the UK and Ireland, a few showers in southern Ireland. Highs at 13C on northern Scotland, 22C in southern England.

Saturday Night
A fair amount of cloud to come overnight across many areas. There will be a few spots of rain here and there over England and Wales, but mostly over eastern coasts. Scattered showers in northern Scotland. Some breaks in the cloud in western parts of the UK and Ireland. Scattered showers in northern parts of Ireland. Lows at 8C in central Scotland, 12C in southern England.

Sunday
A weak front over southern England and Wales on Sunday. This brings some cloud in these areas and a few spots of rain too, although this should fade. Dry elsewhere, rather cloudy to the north and east, a light showers but overall dry. Bright or sunny spells in western oarts of England, Wales and Scotland, although even here there will be a scattering of showers on coasts. Some sunshine too in Ireland, although some cloud in the far west of Ireland. Highs at 21C in the far south of England, widely 14 to 18C as cooler air moves in from the north.

Monday
A trough over southern England bringing cloud and some heavy and thundery showers here on Monday. Showers could develop over Wales too. Fair for other areas with broken cloud and a few bright spells. Most of the cloud will be in more northern and eastern areas. Sone cloud and outbreaks of rain in western Ireland. Highs at 16 to 21C.
