Wednesday
A fine and very warm morning again with plenty of sunshine. There may be some cloud through more northern and eastern areas of Scotland as well as eastern England, but this breaking with sunshine developing too. Staying fair for the afternoon with more sunshine, although isolated thunderstorms may develop in central and eastern areas. Increasing cloud in the south of Ireland later. Highs at 18C in northern Scotland, 23 to 30C in other areas.


Wednesday Night
Dry and warm overnight. Bits of broken cloud in eastern areas with some more cloud in southern Ireland and the far southwest of England. Clear skies in other parts. Lows at 13 to 17C.

 
 
 


Thursday
High pressure remains in control through Thursday. There will be some good spells of sunshine and it will be very warm and even hot for some too. Further cloud for Ireland, western parts of England and Wales, although some bright spells here too. Scattered showers over high ground of Wales and northern England as well as Scotland, these perhaps thundery in places. Highs at 23 to 30C.


Friday
High pressure is expected to be to the northeast of Scotland on Friday. Low pressure developing south of Ireland and this will be nudging a front northwards into the far south of Ireland and southwest England during the day. The front brings cloud and outbreaks of rain and drizzle with it, turning increasingly misty and murky here. Dry for other areas with broken cloud, although some sunny spells too. Highs at a muggy 22 to 27C for most, 20C in the southwest.
