Friday
High pressure dominates again through Friday with a ridge centred over the North Sea. It is going to be a dry day with lots of sunshine in the morning, although some cloud will be bubbling up through the afternoon. Cloud increases in Ireland in the afternoon and into southwestern parts of the UK too. A scattering of showers over northern Scotland, dry elsewhere. Breezy in southern areas. Highs at just 11 or 12C in southeast Ireland, more widely at 13 to 17C.


Friday Night
There will be some cloud around overnight from Friday into Saturday with clearer skies to the far south and north. There is a chance of some patchy light rain over Shetland. Overnight lows will be coolest in the southwest of the UK and through south-central England at -1 to 1C here allowing a patchy frost to form. Most areas see lows at 3 to 9C.
 


Saturday
The area of high pressure remains across the whole of the country through Saturday. Cloud in Ireland, Wales and southern England, although some sunny spells here as well. Best of the sunshine in Scotland. Staying breezy in southern Ireland and southern England, together with the risk of a few spots of rain or drizzle in southern Ireland. Highs at 13 to 16C for most, warmest to the west, feeling cold on eastern coasts at just 11 or 12C here.


Sunday
High pressure is probably going to be over the north of the country on Sunday. An easterly flow in southern areas with broken cloud for many. The best of any brightness is likely to be in the west. Sunnier skies in northern Scotland but also a slight chance of showers developing here. Highs at just 10 or 11C on eastern coasts, more widely at 13 to 17C.
