Low pressure tracks across northern England through the day bringing fresh winds and outbreaks of rain, this locally heavy, to eastern Ireland and Wales as well as much of England and Scotland. Perhaps staying drier for far southeastern parts of England. Brighter conditions spread from the northwest across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland through the day though isolated showers and patchy light rain affect northwestern coasts and hills. High temperatures at 14 to 22C.

Monday Night
Showers affect northern and western coasts and hills overnight, these merging to give longer spells of rain at times, especially over northwest Scotland. Staying drier to the south and east with the best of the clear skies here too. A breezy night with lows falling to 8 to 14C.
 

Tuesday
With low pressure to the northeast on Tuesday, fresh northwesterly winds affect most areas. This brings showers and outbreaks of light rain to northwestern coasts and hills through the morning. Staying dry elsewhere initially though showers spread to more central and eastern areas through the afternoon as a ridge of higher pressure starts to build from the southwest. Showers fade into the evening to leave a mostly dry and fine end to the day across the UK and Ireland. Highs at 14 to 22C.

Wednesday
A ridge of high pressure to the east on Wednesday will give a largely dry day to many in Britain, although with low pressure close by to the west, patchy light rain will spread across Ireland through the day reaching Northern Ireland later and will possibly affect Irish Sea coastal areas of northern Wales and England at times. Cloud thickening across England, Wales and Scotland through the day with the best of the sun for eastern parts of England and Scotland. High temperatures around 15 to 22C.
