Outbreaks of rain will affect Northern Ireland. England, Wales and Scotland will have a fine, dry sunny morning. In the afternoon the area of rain in the west turns heavier spreading in across western parts of Wales and across south west England. Dry in the east with sunny spells. Highs of 9 to 12 Celsius north to south.
Monday night A windy, mild evening and night to come. Spells of rain move in across all but eastern parts of England during the evening with a generally wet night to come across eastern parts of the United Kingdom. Drier in the west with a few coastal showers and clear spells. Expect minimums of 7 to 10 Celsius.
Tuesday The winds will again be a feature of the western as they increase through the day. Gales develop in the west this afternoon. For much of Britain it's a fine, dry morning and afternoon with plenty of sunshine. In the evening heavy rain spreads in across western parts of Britain then into all but East Anglia and the south east overnight. Severe gales are possible with gusts of 80 mph in the north and west. Expect top temperatures of 8 to 12 Celsius.
Wednesday The strong gales persist then lessen from the west later in the day. A very wet day for much of the country, but perhaps drier across East Anglia and the south east until evening. Elsewhere the rain looks quite heavy adding to the flooding situation. The rain clears Scotland and Northern Ireland in the evening. Overnight lighter rain may affect eastern parts of Britain with a number of showers around western coasts, Expect top temperatures of 10 to 12 Celsius.
