Sunday night

Lows of 4 to 9 Celsius for Scotland but up to 12 Celsius in the extreme south of England.

Monday
Another cloudy and windy day with developing in the north and the west. Gusts of 60-70 mph to affect exposed western coasts. But a mild day with the winds from the south. Rain is expected this morning, heavy across Scotland, light and patchy in the south. In the afternoon most of the rain looks to become confined to northern Scotland and Northern Ireland. As that rain in the west spread eastward in the evening and night it becomes heavy. Those strong winds will also continue with gales in the north and west. Expect top temperatures of 10 to 14 Celsius.

Heavy rain, preceded by snow may affect Scotland with rain for Northern Ireland in the night. This edges into Cumbria before morning. Expect top temperatures of 6 to 13 Celsius north to south.
