Friday
A few bright spells over the far east of England and Scotland on Friday morning. Cloudier skies elsewhere with rain pushing eastwards across Ireland. The rain then reaches western Scotland and northwest England by this afternoon, western Wales affected by this too. Apart from a few spots of drizzle developing over high ground, most other places remain dry. This afternoon sees heavy periods of rain in western and southwest Scotland, perhaps this also affecting parts of Cumbria and northwest Wales with a risk of some localised flooding here. Drier further south and east although staying mostly cloudy. Tops near 9 to 12C.

Friday night
A mild night across all parts of the UK and Ireland. There will be some drizzle over the high ground of Wales and southern England, breezy too. Further spells of drizzle and rain in western Scotland, Ireland and the west of Wales. Generally drier in more central and eastern areas. Lows near 6 to 10C.
 

Saturday
An area of low pressure to the west of Scotland pushes fronts eastwards through Scotland, Wales and England on Saturday. It will be wet across Southwest England, Western Wales and Northwest England with the rain becoming heavier during the afternoon. This could lead to some localised flooding by the evening. More eastern and southern areas of England stay very mild and breezy, and apart from a few splashes of drizzle along southern casing hills it should be mostly dry. Eastern parts of Scotland are likely to be dry and very mild although rather cloudy. Cloud to across Ireland with some drizzle in the south and east. Temperatures rising to between 12 and 16°C.

Sunday
Low pressure remains in control on Sunday. Heavy rain could continue to affect Southwest England, Western Wales, and Northwest England for a time together with strong winds. More eastern and southern areas will be cloudy with a few spots of rain but mostly dry and very mild. Drier conditions for northern and western Scotland as well as much of Ireland but with a fair amount of cloud and some showers in the west. Temperatures rising to between 9 and 12°C.
